An Airman's Return

Last month M. contacted me to see if I would be willing to document her husband's return from a deployment.  Since I have worked with this family previously, she is another photographer, and I have not had the opportunity to photograph a return before, I told her I would consider it.  As the date got closer we worked out more details and I made plans to travel to the homecoming.  I was honored to capture the preparation and then the eventual re-connection of this family.
