I can't believe it has already been a year since I was able to photograph this little man coming into the world.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know this family quite well throughout this year and I am so glad that I was able to document this special first birthday for them.  I hope that this next year is less complicated for this family and that they have many happy memories in their time remaining here.

I had the pleasure of photographing this little man for his newborn pictures and when I was contacted to photograph him on Saturday for his 3 month photographs I was delighted.  It not only allows his parents the opportunity to document him as he is more active it gave me the chance to see J. as he grows.  The weather was pretty cold but thankfully the rain stayed away and I was able to capture some nice pictures of this family interacting together.

The weather is playing tricks on me but thankfully the sun is staying out longer so I am able to fit people in for shoots during the week (and thankfully everyone has been super flexible with me and the weather). I met this couple one evening and we took a walk through one of the local forests.  It was gorgeous and we were able to document spring and a lovely pregnancy.  A couple of days later I noticed that the ornamental cherry trees were in full bloom so I asked if they'd be willing to get a few more pictures and thankfully they obliged because really - those blossoms are just gorgeous.

On Sunday I got to chase this sweet two year old girl around the forest.  She was super cute and although it was nap time she did so well for me.  We looked at flowers, found sticks, and sat on logs. It was rather a fun hour and I hope that the images I captured help show a bit of this girl's personality.

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this cute family.  Because we live in such a small community certain names get heard often and this was one of the families that I had been wanting to meet due to the father's love of photography.  It was a pleasure working with them and little L. has the most amazing blue eyes.  At 9 months he wasn't all that interested in smiling for the camera but he was a good sport all the same. 
It was lovely meeting all three of you and I hope that the snuggles and laughter from L. continue to fill your days with much joy.
