With so many beautiful chateaus and landmarks in the area it is always nice to have an opportunity to go and explore some of Belgian history. On Saturday we were able to do just that and I got to see the grounds of Seneffe through the eyes of one of my favorite almost 2 year-old girls.

Earlier this week I photographed a family that was in transition. The son and daughter-in-law were in town visiting on their way to a new location overseas while their other daughter was visiting from the States as well. It is always nice to take pictures of a family who rarely get to see each other, because I get to capture a time in their lives when they are actually all in one location. The transitory lifestyle we are living is a hard one, but is made sweeter with moments like these, where families come together in one place - even if it is only for a short time.
I am so thankful for this beautiful weather that we have been experiencing and according to A. it is because he is now in Belgium (the bad weather goes wherever he leaves). We had a nice and relaxed photo shoot with A. and his mom on Saturday morning and I am grateful for another opportunity to meet some new people.
