Last year I met M. for his 1st birthday and was thankfully able to document him as he turned 2. It is always so fun to see the changes between 1 and 2 - from barely taking steps to chasing after them. Then there is the fact that you are going from one or two words to attempting to string together multiple words. M. was adorable as he watched the ducks and snuggled up with his Mama. I am glad that I was able to interact with you all once again. A very happy birthday to you M.

The sun - oh the sun - it was actually out for one day, I hope you didn't miss it. Thankfully I had a client who was waiting and watching the weather with me and agreed to do the shoot on Sunday our sunny day. We were able to run around the chateau and really just play, which means more fun for little girls and more of an opportunity to capture their spirit. The lighting was lovely and my subject was as well. I loved all her dresses and talking to her about princesses and all sorts of important topics.
Thank you for working with the crazy scheduling and waiting and I hope you have a lovely summer. As soon as I wrapped this little man he starting smiling - and not just a little smile, but a big toothless sleepy grin. Later on in the shoot he actually let out a little noise while he was smiling that sounded just like a giggle. Seriously - 6 days and giggling, melt my heart. This little one made his Mama go through hours and hours of labor but I know that as he grows she will know it was worth it.
Thank you for allowing me to snuggle and capture your little man. And I hope that you all get some rest and are able to enjoy having extra hands around to help. This little beauty was super calm during most of the session, and decided that being awake and looking around quite a bit would be a fun thing to do. She did finally decide to actually settle down and sleep, which allowed me to get some nice shots. During the family part of the session she was content in the loving arms of her Mom and Dad.
Once again thank you for allowing me into your home to capture A. during these first days. I hope that she continues to be a calm baby for you and I wish you my best. This little girl was born weighing less than 6 pounds but has the spunk to make up for her size. She fought me a bit on the whole staying asleep part, but in the end I am thankful to say I won and we were able to get some lovely wrapped shots. Her parents were attentive to her every cry and she had already had her daddy wrapped around her little finger.
The very best to you both and I hope that you enjoy many hours of snuggles and get some real rest soon. |
