I had the wonderful opportunity to take this family's picture a couple of weeks ago. The weather was even beautiful, especially for October. I was able to get some lovely shots and I hope that their Christmas card is everything that was hoped for.

I was contacted last week with a request to do a birthday shoot. It wasn't my average birthday shoot, which usually includes cakes and family - it was to commemorate another year for this beautiful woman. We had fun wandering through the streets and hopefully these pictures help her remember her time in Europe as something special.
I had the pleasure of working with one of my previous clients again. It is an honor to have clients return to me and I truly do enjoy seeing people again and am glad when they come back to have their pictures taken with me a second (or more) time. This time the grandparents were in town, so new pictures were needed to capture their time together as a family. It was a beautiful morning and I'm glad that I had the chance to be out doing something I love. Thank you.
On Saturday I got to see baby H. again, so that we could get pictures of the whole family. Once again the sweet baby decided that he would be a better model if he was awake. I was still able to get some shots and he was happy to snuggle in the arms of anyone who would hold him.
Fall is in the air and the leaves are finally really beginning to change. Para Daiza was the perfect place to have Miss J's 2 year photo shoot since that is one of her favorite places to go. We were able to pet goats and play with the monkeys, plus there are now pumpkins everywhere. This cute girl had fun running around in circles; it was a great way to spend the evening. Happy birthday, beautiful girl.
Some shoots don't go exactly as planned, but that's okay because we improvise where we can. This baby boy wasn't very excited about getting his picture taken alone, so our newborn shoot became a Mom and baby shoot. Even though it wasn't quite what we prepared for, I got some beautiful pictures of this lovely Mom and baby boy.
The weather has been a little iffy this last week but that excited me because it meant that I might have a chance to get to use my new umbrella and try something new with one of my maternity shoots. The shoot started out nice and we were able to get some lovely pictures of this glowing Momma and then the rain came. I got some fun pictures and we were able to capture Belgium being, well, Belgium.
Fall weather has finally arrived and although it is a bit chilly the parks are lovely this time of year. The sky was overcast but we were still able to get some gorgeous pictures. This beautiful family is waiting for the birth of their little girl Zoë. I think that big sister is going to be a great help to mom and dad and I am looking forward to meeting this baby girl when she arrives.
When I was contacted to do a sweet 16 shoot for A. I decided that it would be fun to try something different and do an urban shoot. I am so glad that A. agreed to do it. As we wandered the streets of Mons we were able to stop in doorways and see the city in a new light. We had a great time and she was a lot of fun to work with. Happy Birthday A.
When I was contacted to do this shoot for baby girl Is., I was excited because it was going to be a lifestyle shoot for a one month old. I love lifestyle shoots. I love going into homes and capturing a glimpse of how a family lives and how they truly interact. I had a beautiful morning with this family and I hope that I was able to photograph the joy that they had being together.
