I had another fun session with this family last weekend. I was excited when they agreed to have the shoot in the woods because I knew that the boys would have fun exploring and I would be able to photograph the boys being boys. The weather held and the sun even came out for a bit at the end.
The leaves have finally started to really change and I am so glad because really this is my favorite time of year (although spring is a very close second). I once again got to work with this cute family. I love watching the interaction between the two of them and I hope that I was able to capture of bit of their special relationship.
The last of my fall newborns from last year has turned one. A few of the families have moved away but I am so honored that the rest have asked me to do their one year pictures. This little lady did not want to smile so she showed off her adorable pout instead. She didn't seem impressed with the cake, but hey that is how it goes sometimes. Happy Birthday little Z. and good luck with the move.
Yesterday I thankfully was able to work with this super cute girl once again. I did her newborn and am grateful that I was asked to do this cake smash to celebrate her first birthday. She has a lot of personality already and is constantly on the move. I am sure that as she continues to grow she will keep mom and dad on their toes.
Today I got to work with this cute family. Little Miss was not much in the mood to have her picture taken but thankfully she was happy in her Mom's arms. I am glad that I was able to take these pictures now and hopefully I have the opportunity again before this family moves on to their new location!
Another of the newborns I did last fall is turning one! Little boy B. is so cute and most certainly is a Mama's boy. He loved to be in his Mom's arms and would smile and smile when he finally made it. He wasn't so impressed with his sister lavishing attention on him, but he was willing to snuggle for just a second. Happy birthday B!
I had the pleasure of photographing this little lady again - for her first birthday. We went to the perfect place for this family and sat down with one of their favorite books. It was fun going to a different place and I am thankful I had the opportunity to see this once newborn subject at a year. A very happy birthday I.
The leaves are changing color (slowly) and I was able to photograph one of my favorite families. We were having such nice weather and can you believe it is October already? This is a month for change for so many of us. I am so grateful I was able to capture this time for them and wish them the best in the months ahead.
This little girl was super smiley and that hair - so cute. I enjoyed working with this family again after doing their maternity photographs. I am thankful to everyone who has allowed me to have the opportunity to capture this special time in their lives. I hope that these pictures accurately reflect your little bundle of joy.
Melinda loves photography and hopes this love comes out through her work.
