Last year one of my main goals was to capture connection. I wanted my pictures to help remind people who they were at this stage of their lives. I wanted to show the love and friendship that there was and is between members of the family. I wanted to have less posed shots and more interactive shots. I am continuing to strive to get better at this type of shoot.
I did this session the last part of December. It has special meaning to me because it is my sister and her family. I enjoyed letting the kids play and be themselves while attempting to freeze this moment in time. I hope that they can look back and remember the joy and love that they shared. Plus I made sure to get the extra "sci-fi" sun flare at their request :).
