This is one of the first families that I ever photographed.  They lived down the street from us and our daughters are less than 3 months apart in age.  Two years ago they moved back to their home country, but thankfully we've kept in touch and this last weekend we made our second journey to Warsaw since they moved home.  Even though it was cold, it is November in Poland after all, we were still able to get some not quite so bundled up pictures of this loving family.  I have missed working and interacting with them and am thankful that we are all comfortable with each other, because moments like the following just come naturally.

The months have been moving at varying speeds and the family's that I love to photograph are coming back for more sessions.  I love seeing these families over and over again and am so glad that people trust me to take capture these special moments. 
Miss J. is turning 4 this month and it marks 2 years that I have been taking her pictures.  It is fitting that her last session was the same place that I did her first.  So many hours spent at the zoo, so many favorite places.  Happy birthday J and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to spend time with just you for a little while.

Well Halloween is today and when I did this shoot at the zoo I didn't realize how many people were going to be in costume.  I quickly realized that it was rather difficult competing with grim reapers, vampires, and witches for attention.Thankfully by the end of the shoot we found a spot where this 9 month old could stand and his Mama could get smiles from him.  I have enjoyed working with this family and watching little J. grow.  The very best to all of you

For the past 10 months I have been visiting this family's coffee shop on a 2 to 3 (or maybe 4) times a week basis.  It has become a second home to my family.  Then there is also the fact that they are working at raising awareness for Human Trafficking makes my going meaningful to more than just me.  I am slowly getting to know the two boys and very much enjoyed watching them interact as a whole family.  I am so grateful for the time that I have been able to spend with them and if you are in the area you may want to stop by their shop for some lovely coffee and a taste of home.

Oh the weather.  I watched the weather all week and it started out where it was supposed to be nice.  And then it said only the morning was supposed to be nice.  Then in the morning I looked outside and saw clouds - a lot of them.  It wasn't supposed to rain though, and really around here clouds are generally present so no big deal.  But then it started to sprinkle - there was not supposed to be any rain - and here it was misting on my parade.  Thankfully this family remembered umbrellas, and really umbrellas are fun - they are something we see a lot of.  The kids were able to play and have fun with the umbrellas, and I was able to get real smiles, so rain which made me so annoyed - maybe you weren't so bad after all.  However, did the sun really have to come out as soon as I got home?

I love trees and the sun and the way that the sun looks coming through those trees.  As we drive down the road I am always pointing out patches of light and wishing we could stop along the side of the road to capture those moments.  Thankfully I have found a happy spot to play and find sunshine (when it is out).  This lovely family joined me for an hour to play in the trees, to wave at horses, and to say "Bonjour" to runners as they came by.  I am thankful to my repeat clients and for the trust that they put in me to take their family pictures.  Happy birthday to this Little Man on his second birthday and I hope that his love of cars, being thrown in the air,  and bouncy castle continues and that you find joy each day.

These two brothers were a lot of fun to work with.  When their mom contacted me about doing a shoot we discussed doing something a little different since I knew I didn't want them just standing around staring at the camera.  We went to the perfect location and just allowed them to play and have fun.  We discussed movies, comics, drawing, and Legos.  It was fun to watch these two interact and to see how they are more than just brothers but obviously also best friends.  I hope that their friendship continues to grow as they get older and that they continue to be the very best of friends.

Happiness is turning 1.  Happiness is snuggling, giggling, and glitter.  Happiness is sun flare.  There were so many beautiful moments at this shoot it was difficult to pick which ones to edit; the girl was adorable and the lighting was just the way that I like it - oh and the interaction between this family was just lovely.  I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with this joyful family once again and that they trusted me to do their daughter's 1 year photos.  I love seeing these newborns become more interactive.  Happy birthday M. and I hope that you have a blessed year.

I love spending time with families and just capturing the connection and love between them.  When there are multiple children it is always fun to see how the parents interact with each differently.  This family with two small children meant running and distraction and snuggles.  It was enjoyable to get to spend time with them and I am so grateful that they allowed me to be a part of this time.  It was lovely working with you again and meeting baby P.  I hope that you all get a little rest in the near future.

This Mama definitely has her arms full with these two adorable girls who are turning one in a few weeks.
Little H. adored the camera and was smiles for me most the time while S. was much more reserved and really would rather snuggle.  Even though these two look exactly alike it was fun to see their different personalities in the short amount of time that I was with them.
I wish you girls a very happy birthday and that you do with well all the changes ahead of you.
