What are your prices?

Why is there a sitting fee?
I am doing this as a hobby, because I love working with people and it gives me a chance to get out of my home. However, I am taking time away from my family and I need to cover some of my costs. Because I do not require a minimum order, I need to ensure that I am being paid for my time taking the photographs and at least some of my time editing your pictures for the gallery.
Do you offer discounts?
I offer a 10% discount on products (sitting fee not included) to active duty military (all nationalities) and an additional 10% discount if you pay in cash (sitting fee not included).
Do you offer prints?
Yes, I offer prints from a professional lab. They are generally shipped directly to you.
Can I purchase the digital files?
Yes, you have the opportunity to purchase all the digital files in your gallery or one or two if you would prefer. When you purchase the digital files I also give you the printing rights as well.
How do I pay you?
I take cash for the sitting fee and for the products you can pay with either cash (we will meet after you have placed your order) or you have the additional option of paying with credit card, for a small fee.
Do you have a studio?
No, I do not have a studio. I really prefer using natural light and feel that a studio does not allow for my style to come across the way I want it to. I do have a small portable setup that I use for my newborn photography, but that is the only time I prefer to use it.
What if it rains?
Because neither you nor I have control of the weather I try to have two dates available for a photo shoot. That way if it looks like it is going to rain on Saturday we can push it back to Sunday. If it continues to be bad weather we can try to relocate to your house for more of a lifestyle set up if possible.
Will you put my pictures online for everyone to view?
While I like to put up 3-4 of your pictures for an open preview within a day or two of taking the pictures, it is not mandatory. If you would like to see the pictures before I put them up for a preview I can send them to you in advance for you to approve. I will also maintain your privacy by not naming you or your children and not tagging them on Facebook (although you are free to tag your pictures if you want to).
How soon will I get my pictures?
Your pictures will be available for you to view on a password protected online gallery within one to two weeks of having the pictures taken. Once you place your order and I have received payment I will order your prints, which generally take one to two weeks to arrive depending on the mail. If you have ordered the digital images I will send you the information for your digital download soon after payment.
