Shots from my everyday

A Day in Paris

A couple of weekends ago we went to Paris for the day.  We wanted to go and have breakfast under the Eiffel Tower, because really - how often do you get to do that?  Plus W. hasn't been to Paris yet, so we needed to do that.  We got croissants and pain au chocolate and attempted to stay warm.  The kids then spotted a playground, or two and we let them play, since really a 2.5 hour drive needs to be rewarded.  We strolled down Rue Cler and found the lovely light next to a flower shop, then we searched  for macaroons and E. had to pick the pink while W. picked out brown (thankfully we found some chocolate ones and not the coffee ones).  We then did our normal "American" things like go to Starbucks and Chipotle.  Then the kids were ready to go home so we packed up the car and navigated our way through the terrifying roundabout of the Arc de Triomphe. It was a lovely day and we have so many memories from it.  I'm so grateful for my lovely family and the opportunities that we have.

My favorite thing to photograph is my family.  Our life isn't always perfect, but it is our life and these are memories I want to keep and would like to share with you.
