Late Summer Evenings

Last week was a bit cooler so I was able to take the kids outside to the little patch of grass for two short sessions where I could capture some of our favorite things right now. 
It is melon season.  Melon season in Kyrgyzstan lasts for a few months - there are green, orange, yellow, and red melons - all of them are amazing.  Wesley isn't a fan of the watermelon, which means that the rest of us get to gorge ourselves a little more. 

The kids have also been enjoying playing on the climbing bars - and the sun hits them perfectly right after dinner.  There was one point that Emme insisted on jumping down to give Wesley courage - it was so cute and I love their relationship so much.
School starts next week - so we will see how it all goes.
