What to Wear
What should I wear?
This is a question that I get a lot, and the answer depends totally on you.
Tip:
Dress Mom first, she is usually the hardest to shop for and really you want to make sure that she is happy - then coordinate with whatever she has.

Should we match?
I would not recommend all wearing the same color. It looks forced and unless you wear matching colors everyday it won’t be the real you. I do recommend wearing colors that are in the same color palette though. You don’t want the colors to be too mismatched, but similar colors always looks nice.

Logos? Patterns? Layers?
Logos can be seen as more of a distraction than an asset. It draws the eye to it and not to you, and really the pictures should be about you.
Patterns are okay as long as they aren’t too crazy. They can also be distracting if there are too many things going on at once. But if someone is wearing stripes on their shirt and another person has a solid it looks nice.
Layers are always good. It can help change your look and add some dimension to your outfit.

Ask yourself two questions: What are you comfortable in? Do you like what your outfit looks like?
Comfort is key here; if you are pulling at your clothes the whole time because you are self-conscious, that is going to come out in the picture. Wear something that you like and that you will be happy looking at in a picture years from now.
One of the things I do for myself before I have my picture taken is put on the outfit and then have a quick snapshot taken at different angles to see if I like how I look. This way I see how the outfit really looks and have time to change something before having the more professional pictures taken.
